Great spot to camp with maintained facilities. Some powered sites, also powered and water for caravans on some sites. Camp on the water if skiing/wakeboarding for ease of access. Pub is great for a feed and few beers for dinner making it easy to camp without having to worry too much about food. Just make sure you check times for food, at time of post was 12-2 and 6-8pm for food. Bar open all day.

Went there for a weekday lunch and was seriously impressed. I had a crumbed steak which took up most of my plate and my friends both had the seafood basket which they thoroughly loved. The amazing food combined with the outstanding view was definitely worth the trip.

We are 3 German backpackers and we camped here for 2 nights. it is an incredibly beautiful place to camp. it is right on the lake with a beautiful view of the mountains. the staff is very friendly and helpful. the entire area is very well maintained and clean. I can only recommend it to everyone.

Great location, loved the place but avoid weekends. Gets very busy plus a bunch of yobbos camped nearby and partied all night. I mean till 5am with unregistered dirt bikes buzzing around. Disappointed with the staff for allowing it as they do a great job everywhere else. Fortunately they left Sunday morning or else we would have. We booked for a couple of nights then decided to stay longer. The manager did a great job in finding us a site over a very busy period.

Facilities are quite outdated, sewage is quite smelly near toilet blocks, camp areas need more attention washed out alot if you don't have a lifted 4 wheel drive in some areas it's hard to get your caravan or boat out. Need more toilet blocks closer to camping areas, so much weed in the dam atm, didn't swim due too that. Bar and Cafe area was good. Having trucks drive through late wasn't the greatest, and barking dogs.

New management needs work! Pre booked a campsite for this weekend 19/8/23 for my son's and his friends for a weekend of skiing for his birthday to not be told when booking that the dam would be closed as there was ski boat races on. My husband rocked up with the ute and ski boat packed only to see signs up saying dam closed! Had to call everyone's parents to let them know that camping was no longer on. Not happy at all!

Great place to stay camping right on the water powered sites did not stay in the accommodation. Re the amenities are very clean well-presented great bar there that opens in the afternoon the views are are spectacular sunsets. Owner and staff are Great . Dam is stocked with Barramundi. Bird life interesting.

What an absolute gem of a place; scenery and bird life is simply spectacular. Spent a couple of nights and had a good yarn with some of the locals and Russell who runs the caravan park, the team at Kinchant Waters went out of their way to ensure I had enough firewood and was happy with my allocated site. Would definitely come back here again, highly recommend!
